Ingredients

For the Chicken:

  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 4 eggs

  • 240 milliliters of milk

  • 180 grams of cornstarch

  • 240 milliliters vegetable oil

For the Orange Sauce:

  • 240 milliliters orange marmalade

  • 240 milliliters BBQ sauce

  • 30 milliliters soy sauce

Preparation

Step 1) Prepare Chicken

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate it in soy sauce for 15 minutes.

Step 2: Create Egg Wash Coating

Beat together the eggs and milk in a bowl.

Step 3: Make Flour Coating

In a separate bowl, stir together the flour and seasoning mix to taste.

Step 4: Coat in Milk and Flour

Dredge the chicken pieces in the egg wash and coat them evenly with the flour mixture.

Step 5: Fry the Chicken

Heat oil in a medium-sized frying pan. Cook the chicken pieces until they turn golden brown, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer the cooked chicken to a serving plate lined with paper towels.

Step 6: Make the Orange Sauce

Wipe the pan clean and add orange marmalade, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce. Let the mixture simmer on medium heat, stirring often, for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 7: Mix and Serve

Toss the chicken in the sauce until it's completely coated. Serve with rice. Enjoy your meal!
